Abiy I thought was only a moral coward in his dealing with the killings of civilians mainly Amharas , but regardless of his አንገቴ ይቀላል showmanship in the parliament, he is one hell of a coward in the true sense of the word. Once Blinken chastises him over the phone he has become a wordsmith to sugarcoat his uncalled-for surrender he drops both Amharas and Eritrean as hot-potato. What he doesn't seems to understand is that weyanes by hooks or by crooks want nothing but his head on a platter. His half-cooked smart move to please America and get the support of sort from weyanes going to be a cause for his staunch supporters to abandon him in droves. He used Amharas to decimate Weyanes and used Eritreans to rescue him from certain death, at the cost of international condemnation and smear campaign; the same also he didn't show a clear stand when Amharas single-handedly pointed at by a foreign power as invaders on their own land. Not only that but he is now exposing Amharas for weyanes attack by telling them to evacuate without preparation and forcing them to abandon their strategic position. I have no doubt that Amharas would be united, more united, than ever before and going to teach a lesson weyane thugs. Amharas need to mobilize both internally and internationally and support Amharas cause -- it is now clear more than ever what Abiy's political calculus is. Nietzsche said it well ""That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

Vacating wolkayit is the beginning of the end of Abiy, unless they have a deal behind the scene for tplf to declare independence and leave Ethiopia alone which is doubtful
Tplf are greedy and will want all of Ethiopia … with the help of Egypt and all others.
