The world is asking why Ethiopia and Eritrea started the genocide on Tigray?

Post by EthioRedSea » 22 Jun 2021, 03:38

Why does Ethiopia and Eritrea start the genocide on Tigray people? The Tigray people are the foundation of Ethiopia. Astonishingly the parliament did not oppose. No one in Ethiopia and Eritrea opposed the genoicide on Tigray people. Strategically it does not make sense. It has brought more economic loss to Eritrea and Ethiopia. The resources spent on the Tigray war could have been spent somewhere else, more roads could have been constructed or more companies opened where more people could work.

The question is sociological to study the nature of the mind of those policy makers on genocide on Tigray.
Both Saudi Arabia and UAE were informed by Eritrea about Tigray. It seems The Arabs do not know the history of Tigray. The presence of the oldest mosque outside Arabia should have given them a reason to re-examine their support to Eritrea and Abiy's Ethiopia. This is a very important issue and will be investigated and published in the future by scholars studying the region.

Egypt and Sudan should have advised the Arab countries to stop the genocide war on Tigray. We did not read or hear Egypt's and Sudanese media exposing the war in Tigray, though there has been solidarity with Tigray from Sudan. I am not sure if Egypt was supporting Tigray to defend itself against the genocide from Ethiopia and Eritrea.

The ICC or a special International Committee should arrest Issayas Afewerki of Eritrea and Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia. The propagandists that led to such genocide should also be arrested. Many journalists in VOA, DW, ESAT,, Eritrean media, Ethiopian media etc were part of the crime against Tigray people. They lied and twisted the facts and attacked Tigray people presenting them as hyenas or evils of society. They supported the systematic starvation of Tigray as just and praised the governments of Eritrea and Ethiopia for the genocide on Tigray. There were demonstrations supporting the genocide in Tigray. In fact it looked like ISIS was controlling the governments in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
