Re: Don’t Turn Away From These Images and These Crimes - Nicholas Kristof (NY Times)

Post by DefendTheTruth » 20 Jun 2021, 07:55

The last ditch effort in trying to resuce the last remnants of TPLF, which he didn't try to hide in this one more pile of lies, when he wrote:
... a scorched-earth counterinsurgency campaign of murder, rape, pillage and famine by Ethiopian and Eritrean troops against rebels and also against innocents like Rahel in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.
Didn't his America, which he is now crying to call to stop what he called scorched-earth counterinsurgency wage the same in many different places around the world to stem-out the same insurgency he is trying to defend now? What was he doing then back to have turned away from the same image? Hypocrisy of the superlative class.

These people should be told that we value human rights more than they do by all means of imagination and it should have been a shame for them to claim they set the standard for human rights in the world today. Fluency in english is not a replacement for analytical power of issues at hand, someone should tell the hypocrite.

When he claimed the following
Countless thousands of Tigrayans have already been killed, and tens of thousands of children are in imminent danger of starving to death. This month the United Nations declared that Tigray was in the midst of the world’s worst famine in a decade.
he should have also told us how he came to that figure and who gave it to him. That is where his pack of lies are coming to the surface for everybody to see. This is shameful, not the UN-SC that refused to interfere in the internals of other sovereign member states. He has no morality to call the body that name.

He didn't also deny that he just recycled what the National Geographic has already tried in vain before, and he hopes to succeed this time around.

He also didn't call by the name it deserves the cause of all the sufferings of our people in the region but instead he just dubbed it:
Then last November he dispatched armed forces to crush a mutiny in Tigray, leading to civil war.
Did it happen to him that the mutiny he is claiming to be the cause is also caused by no one else but the same rebel he told his readers some paragraphs before this one the government is using a scorched-earth counterinsurgency?

Someone should tell the guy shameless.
