Amharas have no problem with the independent state of Tigray

Post by Yakume » 15 Jun 2021, 15:41

There are reports of war crimes against Tigrayans in Tigray region and there may be an international tribunal by the United Nations for this as well as what has happened in other parts of the country over the past 100 years. To prevent this from happening, Amharas have no problem with the independent state of Tigray

According to TPLF manifesto, A Tigryan is defined as anybody that speaks the language of Tigrigna including those who live outside Tigray, the Kunamas, the Sahos (Somalis in Eritrea), the Taltal, the Agew (Somalis in the north), and the Welkait and means these nations will be part of the Tigray State. The recently established Tigray "Tigrinya speakers" in Eritrea are also part of the Tigray people. There is no tribe called Tigrinya but people who speak Tigrinya language. The same is true with Amhara and Oromo. Amhara is the language of the orthodox religion and not tribe.
