The Eritrean perspective on G7 talking about Tigray conflict

Post by sarcasm » 12 Jun 2021, 18:43

The below statement is by HaileTG - from Awate.com, prime Eritrean discussion board:

With the G7 talking about Ethiopia's Tigray conflict, we hope they push the UNSC to move away from the current stalemate into real action to force PMAA to enter into a ceasefire agreement with TDF.

Honestly, despite PMAA's wishes to have Woyane dispersed, dead, buried etc... The fact is that the TDF and the people of Tigray stood tall in the face such unimaginable atrocity, and asymmetric war of many to one. The worst is behind them and they are now in a position to inflict as much damage as they get. The Ethiopian and Eritrean as well as Amhara forces - with alleged support of UAE and Somali troops earlier on, have failed to achieve their objectives. The TDF has shown great resilience and managed to dominate the diplomatic arena, popular support and media narrative fully.

In order to usher PMAA away from his Monte Carlo fallacy regarding the current diplomatic stalling at the UNSC, G7/UNSC action is needed.

Since, the TDF has proven that it is now an indestructible force to reckon with, the PMAA should enter into good faith ceasefire and broad negotiations.

He also need to be aware that events don't need his permission and they can happen against his will, should he continue his childish and emotional approach so far.

Lives are at risk and the G7 should agree on a strong action to improve the peace and security of the people of Tigray. The marauding invaders who are committing atrocity, ethnic cleansing and unlawful land grab in Tigray should be forced to get out by all means necessary.
