First the Eritrean soldiers stole the pregnant woman’s food as she hid in the bush. Then they turned her away from a checkpoint when she was on the verge of labor.

She delivered the baby at home and walked 12 days to get the famished child to a clinic in the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray. At 20 days old, baby Tigsti still had shriveled legs and a lifeless gaze – signs of what the United Nations’ top humanitarian official calls the world’s worst famine conditions in a decade...

AbaQ junta

Tigray is starving? I am shocked!

Agamew, famine and Tigray are two interchangeable words. You weren’t starved for a while because you were looting the Amara and Oromo farms; now that has stopped, back to your begging the world. You Agames are the shame of Africa.

Yeah we believe AP, the same fake news agency that wrote a fictitious Monaliza story who claimed she lost her arm while defending herself from Eritrean soldier’s rape. AP sold the fake story to other fake medias until the truth was exposed to the world that Monaliza, the junta’s losing soldier was lost arm while training to breaking to the base of ENDF. This is no different.

All NGOs, including the UN agencies are the servants of your masters, the Western countries, thus, any BS they produce is just a BS. Where were they when your dead Weyane was committing atrocities all of over Ethiopia and Somalia for 27 years? Do you think now Ethiopians and Eritreans give a hoot what they say about Chigray “crisis”? They have ZERO credibility.

Exclusive-UN official accuses Eritrean forces of deliberately starving Tigray

June 11, 2021 - 19:40 By Katharine Houreld and Giulia Paravicini

ADIGRAT/ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (Reuters) - The northern highlands of Ethiopia became a global byword for famine in the mid-1980s, when drought and conflict combined to create a disaster that killed as many as one million people. Now hunger is stalking the Tigray region again, and a senior UN official alleges that starvation is being used as a weapon of war...

In some of his strongest public comments to date on the crisis, the UN's top humanitarian official, Mark Lowcock, accused Eritrean forces of "trying to deal with the Tigrayan population by starving them." In an interview with Reuters on Thursday, Lowcock said Eritrean soldiers and local fighters are deliberately blocking supplies to the more than 1 million people in areas outside government control. "Food is definitely being used as a weapon of war."..
