No, I do not think they believe what they are saying. They are in a bad situation. Surrendering leads them to prison, escaping to Sudan is difficult if not impossible, living daily life, like having food to eat water to drink is becoming a monumental task. Getting soundly sleep is another impossibility. Trusting one who is around you even twenty- four hours might not be easy. Yes, they are under pressure. For a person who is living somehow stress free life their speech seems to have the influence of drugs. That maybe true, but not the real cause of it. The speech is their choice of coping with the stress.

Eritrean forces wouldn't have withdrawn from Tigray if the TPLF terrorists were not completely eliminated and annihilated. The killing of TPLF's head honcho, the terrorist Debretsion attests to the fact that TPLF no longer exists on the ground, however there is a concerted effort by Neo-colonial powers to create an imaginary TPLF out of thin air to mask their Neo-colonial agenda.
