The idea of “national interest” is just that -national. Being brutalised is in no nation’s interest.
No such thing as “national dialogue” after you jailed your opponents or publicly execute & drag from prisons & kill the Oromo, part of the nation you should dialogue with.
You can’t rename the interest of a few unelected elites & their proxies as “national” & hope to get away with it.

And this one is for posterity: we have a government that redefined the basic meaning of sovereignty & the sovereign right of a people not to be raped, killed, cleansed & looted by occupying mercenaries, & instead classified the screams of “partners” to put an end to it as “undue pressure” on sovereignty.
