He did this fascistic action on Tigrean soldiers and Federal police in order to make Tigreans feel disarmed and hopeless in trying to defend themselves. He started to arrest 5,000 Tigrean officers 2 days before the wrongly alleged day of "Attack on Northern Command" which he used as an excuse to openly declare war on Tigray. Subsequently, he arrested every Tigrean soldier in the Federal Army and every Federal and Local Police of Tigray origin... including traffic police and security guard were arrested and put in concentration camps, where they languish to this day. This is the most racist thing that has ever happened anywhere in the world let alone in Ethiopia. I think Meshrefet is truly racist, extremely evil person, inferiority-complexed sicko.
The innocent Tigrean soldiers and police are still languishing in over a dozen concentration camps across the country. This is part of the genocide on Tigreans and the culprits of this genocide will be held responsible sooner or later.
