Ras Dejen Geremseqel, one of the most powerful Tigrean Princes of the 17th century ruled the entire Tigray-Tigrigni from Awah to Qarora including seqota, lasta lalibela, Simien up to Embagergis (on the gate of Gonder). And I heard Dr Abraham is a direct descendant of Ras Dejen. Named after Ras Dejen Geremesqel, Mount Ras Dejen was later corrupted by qomiches and ferenjis into the meaningless Ras Dashen.
Ras Dejen Geremesqel himself was descendant of the pre-Axumite Kings of buHr( Greeks or Persians could not pronounce the "H"
ad misspelt/mispronounced buHr as Burr), but it is buHr in ancient Geez, or Bahr in modern geez, or Sea in English... Thus, buH stands for "The Kindgom of the Sea" which was centered in Agame and Akeleguzai..... specially the region settled by Endadashim and Deqi-Dashim; where, among many other aspects of Agazian culture kirar was invented, and where, believe it or not , the following ancient Tigrigna music emerged. And mind you, coz the music is so perfect from its creation , it is still played the same way even thousands of years after its birth in pre-Axumite buHr.


I encourage Dr Abraham Belay to be a true Agazian and outsmart all enemies of Tigray-Abay.

Ras Dejena the ruler of the areas was from Tembien and Ras Dejena is part of the old Tembien province, nothing to do with this Barya Diqala Abraha Belay. All the old Tigrayans were very light skin before qonaduf slept with our women like what the Hamassien ugly faces are doing to our women today.

Ras Dejen is from Agame but Temben and SeqoTa were his powrbases...... but I'm sure he may also have some significant familial connections in Temben.

Do you know Dejena in Welkait is named after Ras Dejen? And you know the Welkait people in Dejena are proud of their Agame, Akele, Temben and Seqota Origins? It is very facnating fact on the ground.
Lets simply hope Abraham Belay outsmarts the enemies of Tigray and is able to fly Tigray's flag over Mount Ras Dejen before TDF enters Meqele.
