Remember Gudaf is winner of 1500 meter and 5000 meters, this is her first time to run for 10,000 but she stood fist and finished it within 5th best world record and 2nd best Ethiopian record.

Imagine how many Gudaf Tsegays could give the world if Tigray had peace and was a free country! Imagine the Letesenbet Gideys and Abadis Tigray could produce if conditions were different.

Gudaf Tsegay is also Ethiopian record holder on 5000 meters. You can see two worldclass Tigrean athletes, Letesenbet and Gudaf, leading the pack by fare great distance. Unfortunately Letesenbet got distracted and slowed down at the end, I think, may be she miscounted the laps. probably she thought there is one more round to go.
