According to TPLF's plan, the attack on Ethiopian Defence Forces stationed for 23yrs at the Ethio-Eritrean border was supposed to be a "pre-emptive strike" to paralyzed & control the Northern Command & march on towards Addis Abeba to overthrow PM Abiy Ahmed & take over Ethiopia.
