In most countries in Africa, including your Kilil Tigray, elections are a prerequisite to qualify the countries for western food aid. One of the US founding-fathers, John Adams wrote: "Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide." It is for this reason that the United States is a republic and not a democracy. A republic is a system of government where the power rests with the nation's citizens. My country Eritrea is a Republic.Wedi wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 12:35Fiyameta you are working for Democratic election in Ethiopia while your country had none in past 30+ yearsFiyameta wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 12:16The neo-colonial media that have already spent countless hours preparing fake news reports condemning the Ethiopian elections as "undemocratic and unfair", will be very disappointed if the elections is to be postponed.
