Ethiopia needs a transitional government. EU"s refraining from sending observers have effect.

The absence of EU's observer in Ethiopia's election will have its own effect. If all observers around the world refused to observe the election, how could the election credible? It is very sad to see some prominent figures in Ethiopian politics undermining EU's stance and claiming that it has no effect.

Regarding election:
Fearing the tense environment in Oromia region, Except the ruling party all party are sidelined from participating in the coming election. Seeing this inappropriate situation, the Abiy's administration hasn't made effort to make a platform for all parties to run in the election. From this we conclude that, Abiy and his supporters want to win the election Oromia by force by sidelining other opposition parties.

There is also report of supplying illegally election's card in Addis ababa who came from Oromia region. Further, with notable political leaders thrown in jail, conducting election is not fair. Especially, Eskinder Nega has been in jail for no reason but Abiy considered him the main contender in Addis Ababa's election.

The country is in turmoil than ever before, more and more people are uprooted from their areas for political reasons. Such and such situations implied that election is not possible.

Transitional government in the making:
Indeed, Ethiopia needs transitional government. Why? Abiy is not normal person, why do we need him?
Only for one thing I/ we support Abiy's stay in power- to weaken the TPLF's mafia. Other than that Abiy will bring more damage.

I believe that all responsible body including all parties to agree to form a transitional government.
