The Vicious Attack on Ethiopian Military for the 2nd time in 6 Months by Those From Tigray

Post by DefendTheTruth » 08 May 2021, 16:15

The whole world knows now that the Northern Command of the Ethiopian national army was viciously and savagely attacked by forces loyal to the Tigrean regional government on the 4th of November 2020, when the latter launched what it dubbed a blitz-krieg against a force that was kept there to protect the citizens of the region and its administration against a possible foreign aggression for over 2 decades.

It is not only the attack itself but also the way how and the magnitude of the crime that was committed against the vanguard of the nation left an enduring scar on the national consciousness of Ethiopians for generations to come. These are sons and daughters of all citizens of the country, who were conscripted into the national army to safeguard the safety and security of the nation, including and in this case primarily those citizens in Tigray itself.

As ungrateful and as heinous as this crime was the second and similarly vicious attack was staged by a leader of another powerful institution in the country on the 7th of May 2021, causing not less damage than the one from November, if not bodily but certainly in terms of reputation and image, whereby the national army was blamed to have committed a genocide on its own people, without corroborating the allegation.

The Ethiopian Army was in Tigray for over 20 years continuously and we didn’t hear about such a crime before, and we have to wonder how it might have developed itself into such alleged savagery. If it is not to blame, then why such a grand allegation against one of the grand institutions of the nation by a person who happens to stem from Tigray and representing another grand institution of the nation itself, we have to ask ourselves.

This is another round of damaging attack against the same entity that was deployed to protect the citizens it is now blamed to have committed a genocide against, without saying and showing the evidence to support the allegation. This is unforgivable.
