OAU also pulled out of Election observer duty because security concerns for its observers and the candidates.
Concerted with the EU the African union also is going to announce its decision not to send an election Observers. The Congolese chairman said he had consulted to many of African countries head of states and also taking in to account the current situation in Ethiopian, the African union is not goin to send an election observers.
since, the head office for the African union organization, the chairman said in a closed meeting. we have many human right watch personals who are assessing the current situation in Ethiopia especially the security issues in some part of the country is not considered safe for the observers to travel and make unbiased observation.
Especially, in some of Oromia region they have information pointing out that some candidates were killed and some are not getting enough security to campaign, therefore the organization will be forced not to send election observers where candidates are not free to campaign safely and their observes duty can be jeopardize.
How ever if situation are improved quickly and and stabilized they are willing to look at the matter in near future.

European Union, African Union and many other organizations do not believe the Election would be fair. Ethiopia has to cool down. It takes time. Human right groups have a lot of weight on these organizations. The UN has to update itself. We are not living in 1945. The competition between the West and East has become a liability to world peace. Dictators hiding behind sovereignty up until one of the super power acts to protect its interest not universal interest is ridiculous.
