Aba Bahery documented and preserved the history of Gala which historians of today including Asmorm Legesse from Eritrea and several Gala academic historians are using his book abundantly. Unfortunately, Ethiopia being a country without academic freedom, great personalities that contributed so much to society are either forgotten or their works do not please those in the leadership. Anyone academician, reading the works of Aba Bahery surely will be surprised the style, objectivity and organization his study about the Gala people of his time in 500 hundreds years ago. Asmrom Legesse, from Eritrea, pililgerized Aba Bahery's work and used his own political sausage to please Oromuma fanatics' got honorary degree from an Orommuma leadership, just like another falsehood writer, Tesfaye Gebreab ( የቡርቃው ዝምታ) writer who wrote a spell to hypnotize Oromo so as to serve the interest of TPLF.

---- The bottom-line is, Aba Bahery deserves to receive a Posthumous Doctoral Degree. This is long overdue and it would be shame/great mistake not to give credit to his invaluable work. The Gala /Oromo people should be immensely thankful, I wish any University from Wolega, Jimma, Bale takes the credit for doing so forgetting the fake political stuff often fed to them by OLF>

I have no problem if that Banda is awarded whatever shoddy degree you may wish to award his rotten fossil corps if that may ease the pain in your drooling cursed back hole. The only thing you must know is that Bahery was given divisive sinister white writer's propaganda manuscripts to be authored in his name so that the Big Nations of Oromo and Amhara are made to view each other as enemies and through that fight each other for ever, making it easy for foreign agents to intervene and destroy Ethiopia to enrich themselves and live well while Oromos, Amharas and their country stay dirt poor and wretched of the earth.

Why do you think that these power and resource hungry foreign agents are hovering over Mamma Ethiopia from all directioins and imposing themselves by all means possible? And low IQ clueless Beres like come here and try to help the devious ideologies and strategies of Judas the angel of envy and jealousy.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. The brilliant Scholar አባ ባህርይ described the behavior of the ጋላ people 500 years ago in his ethnographic survey published by the title ዜናሁ ለጋላ. He is the original source for anyone to study the history of Gala people in Ethiopia. Being an authority in the study researcher both foreigners and domestic scholars used his evidence. He wrote his this survey of ethnography of Gala using Ge'ez language which later translated into National Amharic languages and foreign researchers in English. In fact his study truly speaks of the rustic mentality of Aba Geda people, the past is being repeated today. I don't know how you are mad him, I only know truth is bitter. If you can not learn from your past, you will not be a better democratic citizen. In stead of being thankful for he let you know your history you are cursing him. Had he not documented this, it would be impossible where the Gala people came from and what their custom or culture looks like. Always, some bad Gala people believe they are doing great by cursing great men like አባ ባህርይ and Emperor Menelik II. Those ጋላ people out there who are envy about these great mean, you had better decent history that parallels with them pursuing civility instead of cursing and doing all weird acts of barbarism.
