Neither the amhara nor the Ethnic groups who were oppressed by Amhara should be in power. We need to abolish ethnic federalism and replace it with civic federalism. Civic federalism should be used to promote equality in all regions of Ethiopia. If possible a democratic unitary state is preferable. But this is unrealistic considering the current situation where some ethnic groups are armed to defend themselves from attacks from Abiy ahmed and co.

Ethnic Federalism has practically failed as Ethiopia is now fighting against it's own citizens as during the imeperial regime days and the Dergue era.

We need to have a new constitution where we as Ethiopians are the base and source of power is the main article and main principle.
