Lessons from the failed alliance between Shabia and TPLF !

The alliance between TPLF and Shabia that enabled Derg to be defeated and destroyed the dominance of Amhara on Ethiopia failed because both had a conflicting ambition and vision for the Horn of Africa. The alliance was tactical but with out any shared vision and objectives. TPLF wanted to dominate the Horn Africa politically and economically alone, while Isaias has also the same ambition. This conflicting vision caused the ongoing conflict between the Tigrayans of Tigray And the Tigrayans of Eritrea.
The major lesson is any future alliance between the two Tigrayans has to be strategic and with shared/ same vision and goals. That will brake the back bone of the Amhara elites once and for all.
