ለምን የህዝብ ጊዜ በከንቱ ያቃጥላሉ? ህግ ኑሮ ህግ ከተከበረ በኋላ እንጅ መንግስት እና ምርጫ ዝም ብሎ በህዝብ ይቀለዳል። ስለ ኮሮና ቫይረስ የጤና አጠባበቅ ትምህርት መስጠት የበለጠ የሞራል ቅቡልነት አለው። ልቡ የፈሰሰ ዜጋ ያሳዝናል ምርጫ ይላል። የሚመረጥበት አገር ተገኝቶ ተሙቷል።

You seem optimistic and happy, right? Do you think a free and fair election would be conducted in that bloody country? Don't defend by comparing with other country or free and fair election towards democracy is a process. I don't want to hear such lame excuse that always comes from dedeb cadres-just to defend his/her belly for>30yrs.

Brother Tolcha, of course the election can't be fully free and fair. That is impossible coming from ethnically highly divided society. If we conducted a fully free and fair election then each ethnic group will elect the most radical and uncompromising leaders and we will end up in civil war. There is absolutely no path to full democracy from ethnically highly polarized society. That is like giving a knife for a child. It is highly irresponsible!

What we have now and what is also sane thing to do is a slow transition. Not a full free and fair election but a somehow free and fair election. We have somehow freedom of speech, we have somehow free private media and we will have somehow free and fair election at least in the cities. This by itself is a big step into the direction of full democracy but before we enjoy full democracy we have to learn to compromise and get out of radical ethno-nationalism. That takes time. You can't send all radical forces into the ring expect a civilized and peaceful outcome that is nativity.
