Why Egypt and Sudan will be loosing any war against Ethiopia

Post by EthioRedSea » 07 Apr 2021, 17:48

Egypt may or might not bomb the Abay Dam. If it it bombs the dam on Abay River, this is a war against Ethiopia which Egypt cannot win. Egypt has some war planes and tanks, which is not possible to use against Ethiopia as Ethiopia is too far from Egypt.

Ethiopia could declare war on Egypt and Sudan if Ethiopia is attacked. This is a good opportunity for Ethiopia to attack Sudan and destroy it once and for all, which is in the interest of USA and Israel. a weak and disarmed Sudan is good for Israel, USA and EU as Sudan is ISIS brain washed country.

Egypt will also be weakened if it starts any war against Ethiopia. Ethiopia can attack Aswan Dam, which means the Egyptian military will have no power supply to run it's military missions or communicate with each other. Further attacks with missiles at Egyptian military installation will help ethiopia defeat Egypt. this is a good opportunity for Israel, USA and EU. a weak and disarmed Egypt will be good to control. For ethiopia wars against Egypt and Sudan will be a challenge and will give the general experience in future wars against the Arabs and other enemies in the middle east and beyond.

How would Ethiopia fight Egypt, Sudan, the OLA, The Tigrayan resistance, and now contain the afar-somali war in the east, all at the same time?
No doubt, it would lead to a collapse of the central govt of Abiy. Eritrea can and will help, but how long can they sustain the war effort?
Let's hope that Egypt & Sudan do not decide to invade, this is not a good time to be boasting with our chests out, as if Ethiopia can handle such a major conventional war, in Ethiopia's current state.

Cool down and, most of all, try not to be intimidated by the usual empty bravado and cheap threats of Sisi, who is using this issue to sell himself to the Egyptians as their protector in dire times, and mask the current rising internal anger in Egypt mostly due to soaring poverty and high living costs.

Neither Egypt nor Sudan can afford a war either, leave alone sustaining a prolonged one.

Let them bark; it's free of charge!

Just a thought!

Egypt doesn't have to be in great condition financially, it can for sure solicit funds from Saudi and elsewhere, not to mention the Nile is it's lifeline- their people & army would most like rather die fighting, than die from thirst.
Sudan is with them, it seems. Of course, what better time to attack, when Ethiopia is engulfed in crisis's.

Egypt is a miaowing cat who takes its irritating noise for a lion's roar! Worse, egypt is bewildered when others dont take its stupors seriously.

Egypt will NEVER do the meticulous due diligence required to influence the NILE, be it from the sharing or owning part of it! They will miawu and pump their chest in their own echo chamber and expect results while life passes its goodies to those who earn it!

---- You are mixing apples and oranges. How is TPLF and OLA matters? First, these are fugitive rebels and already has become insignificant. Any local peasant militia can take care of them if Abiy Ahmed is honest not to give shield for OLA. My thought about TPLF, I will round it up, the head of the snake is already chopped off not comeback and bite. It is dead, left with empty propaganda in the diaspora.
---- The bottom-line, this will give Abiy Ahmed the momentum that will galvanize all Ethiopians and recruit more army and raise fund. I don't think Egypt and Sudan will have a momentum that will match with Ethiopia. I am not happy with what Abiy Ahmed is doing with OLF and ODP-PP such Shimelis Abdissa, et al . but if war breaks and Abiy calls all Ethiopians to contribute everything they can I will; and as a citizen I will volunteer to pay the maximum sacrifice. Aby river is our water and more importantly it is about our sovereignty and pride not something with village level bandit such as OLA/OLF and TPLF. More importantly, war between countries is a marathon not a sprint, Ethiopians (thanks to God) have all means to hurt Sudan and Egypt. Honestly, I don't even value the Abay dam over diverting the course of Abay river to irrigate many hectares of arable land. We can stop Abay river by creating dams in hundreds of places. Please don't value the village level bandits as if they factor in wars of nations.

Aberua - anchi motmata ye weixo zinjero;

Really? You conveniently forgot something important. Time & again, silly Aethiopia was saved by a massive armada of foreign troops from total oblivion. For example:

1 - the Portuguese armada saved medieval era habesha empire from the resistance of Islamic tribes, led by the famous Ahmad Gragn,

2 - the British & South African army, navy & air-force saved Abyssinia from the Italians & their millions-strong habesha [Eritrea+amhara+tigre, etc] banda helpers in 1941 G.C. See the video below showing when these blonde saviours of imiye Aethiopia marched towards the "genete-liul" palace of the mideget emperor Haile Selassie who hid in the English city of Bath for the entire 5-years duration of the Italo-Abyssinian wars [1935-41].

3 - massive foreign armies made-up of the Cubans, Russians, Yemenis & some highly-trained East-German+North Korean army engineers helped starving Aethiopia from the Somalis in 1978.

4 - today, Col. Zinabu's [deleted] is being protected by a massive & half a million-strong army of Vampire Afeworqi, by rich Arab's sophisticated squadrons of drones launchers, by Ukrainian mig bomber jet pilots & army engineers, etc,

5 - etc ...

VIDEO#1: "The Fall Of Addis Ababa - Pathe Gazette Special (1941)". The video shows how a massive armada comprising of tens-of-thousands of blonde British & South Africans army, navy & air-force that saved aka liberated imiye Aethiopia from the Italians & their millions of mostly habesha banda helpers. This video shows the day the BLONDE ANGELS :P 8) marched towards Addis's "genete-liul" palace, of the coward mideget named emperor Haile Selassie, who hid in the English city of Bath for the entire 5-years duration of the Italo-Abyssinian wars [1935-41].

I'm glad to see you are patriotic and think that Ethiopia can sustain such a war, that's good, but it's more emotion based, as opposed to being based on facts.
Not TPLF, their leaders are long gone or captured: but ordinary tigrayan men and women fighting to repel those committing war crimes in their land. Abiy and his allies do not just want the TPLF gone, they want to subjugate Tigray, and completely demolish it, to the point that it's not a political force anymore and thus, is unable to ''pose a threat'' to him and his allies. They want a puppet party in Tigray, not a Tigrayan party that is popular and able to advocate for their people. This is obvious to anyone observing, and trying to not be biased.
All of the reports about war crimes being committed there, surely cannot be lies, even if some of the tigrayan's online could be lying, no doubt, abiy and his allies are liars too... they don't exactly have a spotless record themselves, remember, they once upon a time were allies of TPLF and sharing in the loot of Ethiopia? Hulum wushet new, they are all liars, from TPLF and their allies to the abiy regime and his allies.

Abiy himself recently admitted they're fighting a ''exhausting'' guerrilla campaign in Tigray, fighting on 8 fronts. The Derg did too, remember? They had billions in arms from the Soviets and the manpower, [all while many starved, but nonetheless], and still failed. I wonder, why?
Because, the power of the masses, when determined and united, is stronger than any armed force. You cannot subjugate people by force, forever. Especially, let's be honest, an already economically challenged [to put it lightly] country, cannot sustain such wars for long.
You say OLA can be ''wiped out,'' as if Abiy hasn't been trying: what do you want him to do? Kill millions of Oromo's? I'm sure that, you do, but you are not quite man enough or bold enough, to admit such a thing! No one wants OLA gone more than the same party that was created, to counteract the OLF/OLA, which is OPDO/PP-Oromia, who went from serving TPLF elites to Amara elites, due to fearing their own people and not being confident in winning any free and fair elections in Oromia!
