What is the goal of the resurgent Neftegna?
Posted: 06 Apr 2021, 10:43
... to bring back Ethiopia under its grip of power and backwardness.
For that snatching of power by any means necessary from the central government, reclaim territory from Tigray by means of force, make a massive and malicious propaganda campaign against the Oromo regional government all over the world, in order to weaken the regional government and derail all the support the PM might have from there. Once Oromia government has been removed/weakened, then it will be just an easy ride to topple the central government and realise the power snatching objective.
Territory reclaim from Tigray and Beneshangul has already been realized and arming their own forces there has been already finalized. For any eventuality these forces are now on a standby modus to take any action, if order may come from top.
It is demanding now to also be allowed to arm itself in Oromia under the disguise of protecting its citizens, who it claims, are unduly targeted. For this endgoal it goes the extra mile and instigate pruposefully violence and the spilling of innocent lives to be able to videotape the scene of gruesome killings and use that for its external campaign of maligning the government and even seeking to get the current government sued at international court of justice, for failing to protect its citizens.
Ostensibly it claims to have issues with the regional government but in reality its issue is with the central government, from which it is seeking to snatch power, by any means.
The strategy is simple: after the case with Tigray has now been concluded with its snatching of territory it claimed belongs to it, successfully subduing the uprising and resistance in Beneshangul, the next step is weaking and removing the power anchor of Oromia to the central government, which is its biggest challenge, whereafter then it would be a simple task remaining for it to realise the goal.
It tried to take a different route to the same objective but failed back then, when it tried to take control of Bahirdar and through that pressurize the central government to succumb to its demands but that plan ended with its own demise.
The second route is much longer and takes it all over Tigray, then Beneshangul Gumuz, then Oromia and the Final arrival is Finfinne, the power center in the country.
The marginalied communities in the country need now to build and strengthen their unity and defend their freedom and their country. The resurgent Neftegna is worse than the TPLF junta.
They should have their own strategy and fend of the aggression coming from the resurgent Neftegna.
There are some Oromo activists trying to mobilize and rally themselves behind the camp, which is still in the bush, while sidelining those who are already in the palace, which could potentially lead to a catastrophic end, if this plan may succeed, for the Oromo people and its aspiration to enjoy its freedom.
First fragmentation will weaken the people's resistance and second there is no logic to give up the palace, which is already in their hand, and try to start from the bush to come to the same, all over again.
Get united and rally userself behind the party already in the palace, else you risk losing everything, one more time again and lose your chance one more time.
By doing so, never repeat the past mistake of fighting against your own Heros of the past, like Ras Gobana Dache and all other Ethiopian patriots, including Emperor Menelik the II. Try to build on what they have already achieved, instead of villifying everything they accomplished and trying to start from a scratch one more time, as if you are somebody without your own history.
Othter minorities in the country need to coordinate their resistance among each other and defend their freedom, before they get annihilated by the resurgent Neftegna.
Accomodate minorities among yourself and protect them, the Neftegna is trying to use some of them to mobilize the world and its own supporters by depicting you as an enemy of minorities and undemocratic.
Say no to multi-tier society in Ethioia, say yes to equality and freedom to all citizens if the country.
