The world is confused about the Eritrean Army

Post by Cartmann » 28 Feb 2021, 21:16

For the past 20 years the headlines around all the world were that Eritrean army divisions were emptying due to the exodus of the youth. The UN, US, EU and all other western countries as well as the useless TPLF affiliated Eritrean opposition groups concluded that the Eritrean army is depleted of its human capacity as well as its capability. The so-called monitoring group reports indicate that the Eritrean army divisions has no capacity more than few hundred men. The former TPLF’s spokesperson, now the convict Bereket simon once arrogantly declared that the Eritrean army is reduced to the level of ordinary village army.

Fast-forward >>>>>>>>to 2021. Now the world is claiming the Eritrean army unleashed its full military might against the TPLF. The TPLF and the West forgot their earlier narration that the Eritrean army is incapacitated. Instead now they claim that upto 20 Eritrean infantry and mechanized divisions with the capacity of hundreds of thousands of men have been unleashed in Tigray. There are reports that the Eritrean airforce is dropping bombs in Tigray that weigh as much as 500 kg. There are even reports that more divisions are mobilized to the border with Sudan along the Ethiopian army. The world is now confused where Eritrean army divisions come from, and how can they be so much devastating?

When it is becoming hard to reconcile both narrations the following is what they are saying:

“Although Eritrean army divisions have been shrinking in size in the past twenty years and their individual capacities are shriveled, put together they are a formidable force. Their combined technical knowhow (intelligence and weaponry) as well as tactics and strategy expertise and experience can deliver blistering firepower against any adversary”

By the way I am 'deeply concerned' about the genocide in Tigray.

Well put!
We are all “confused” about the Eritrean forces

Well, every Eritrean knew the BS the so called the military analysts foolish guess about our army’s strength. We know the fact and it was fine with us for the, including the dead TPLF to think otherwise. As gamblers say; you don’t show all your cards at once. In fact what Eritrea is using to decimate the Weyane is perhaps bot even 5% of its military and Human Resources. Glad that Shaebia in its nature, never brag about its capacity; it is for this reason why it is a deadly force and why the so called Western military analysts are confused what to say about it.

Weyanes were daring the Eritrean Army to retake Badme. And when they did the junta started crying  sweet justice.

For me, what's more fascinating about the Eritrean army than its numbers or strength/tactical abilities is that it can appear at any war theater under the nose of superpowers with state of the art surveillance technology at their disposal- from Somalia to killil Tgray- yet they can't produce even one concrete evidence to back up their accusation or be able to prove of its presence or of ever having been there.

A veritable, ghost army! Something you read, only in science fiction novels.

ኣይተ Martin ጣውላ and the UN were saying day and night that Eritrean Army is depleted of its manpower. Contrary to logic, they said the Eritrean army was in Somalia, recently in Tigray, and now in Sudan.   How many armies does Eritrea have?
