I have seen in many social media some Galla who claimed to be a priest because of the white ribbon on their neck make a false story about Ethiopia and they speak with contempt and hate but Abuno Petros at his tender age was speaking with grace, determination and command because he grows up and thought by Amhara priest and nurtured by Amhara society and he is Amhara just to put the fact straight.

Calling someone megarsa, debasa, gelasa, lelisa, and whatever you think fit doesn't serve as a tag to be Galla. There are many Amhara in Amara-sient, Welega Raya who can't speak Amharic but it doesn't mean they are not Amhara unless they say so.

We have to ask the reason why these Galla cadres came as a priest we can see two reasons.

Those two kids now are mothers and grandmothers. They do not speak a single English only Galigna. One of the girls married three-time because she keeps getting kidnap from her home or outside by other Gallas.
Their interview was on Ethiopian radio about 10 years ago but I will promise I will bring it and share it. Their mother believed to be dead from broken hurt this what imposed identity means. people have to have their choice of what to be. Even many Gallas enjoy this same right when they go and become a citizen of America or England. They are not American by birth but they choose to be and exercise their democratic right. However, here in Ethiopia Galla want to deny people's right to choose their identity it is not ironic, think about it.
