Yaballo, a very interesting video. I am not an Amhara' but what the young said about Amhara superiority may be true. Of course, the Amhara always considered themselves superior to other Ethiopians. Superiority, as the young man tried to explain, is not the same thing as racism, discrimination, or apartheid as was the case in South Africa. Remember, even though the Amhara considered themselves superior, they nevertheless recognizes other tribes in Ethiopia as humans and that they do exist. Racism or apartheid do not recognize you exist and do not see you as human.

Concerning Amharas being Semetic, do you think the young man was in error. If so, what is the fact that you know about the Amharas. If they are not Semetic, what are they? What is the historical fact that you know?

No sign of fictional Menelik ever existed. Language isn't necessarily a race.

This is a very common habesha delusion perpetuated by Ethiopian monarchies.
This delusional Youngman likely is from a feudal family, sent to the US by the king on government scholarship.
Sadly, the TPLF leadership too is the victim of this same fictional superiority prejudice(habesha delusion). The TPLF leaders chose to lose all the gains of the last 30 years and turn Tigray to a stone age rather than being a junior partner to an Oromo Prime Minister!
Stupidity has no limits.
