አሁን ትኩረት ወደ ልማት

Post by DefendTheTruth » 01 Dec 2020, 14:21

We are not the type of people privileged to get back and take sigh; we have insurmountable challenges, after finishing one task, then we have to immediately commence with the next one, till we have reached to the level of where we can say managed at least some of the major challenges.

120 Million people feeding and bringing to work is a challenge no one will succeed to get under control any time soon.

we just concluded one small battle, but the bigger part of the war will commence very soon, we have no time to loose.

ተነሳ ተራመድ፣ ክንድህን አበርታ፣ ወደ ልማት ገስግስ።

It is now time for all Ethiopians to show their patriotism, you don't have to be necessarily a soldier to make yourself a patriot, you can also be one in the field you are competent in.

Start organizing yourself in a small community and build up your country that was devastated by over 50 years of internal and external conflicts and culture of political intransigence. You can pursue your political goal by means of peaceful means, for that you also need to show your presence on the ground with the people on the ground and show them that you care about them. Start by knowing their need, don't start by imposing your view on them, instead start by understanding what their need is and craft your programs on that.

A small group of change can make a difference in some form, 10 times 10 is 100 and 100 times 100 is already 10,100. Use the multiplier-effect (see the graph below).

Start by coming together, no more grudge and sentiments, try to adapt culture of dialog and win by means of dialog, no more rivalry to win over your presumed opponent, rather find one common ground and try to build on that. You should by now have well understood that we have a common destiny, if one fails, then the rest also fails.

No one can be free before all of us are free. You don't have to be a government or anybody else's supporter but always ensure that you support your country and that should be the overriding objective of all in what you do.

Government will come and go, but country will stay here, we see many citizen activisum in the sphere of politics and that should be also extended into other fields as well.

I think many of those political activists have played a significant role in creating awareness in the field of politics and we do also need now the same activism in other fields that can bring the country forward.

Ethiopia is still one of the poorest countries in the world, which need humanitarian aid, for which UN has just released an apeal for fund to feed the coming new year of 2021 (in the same category of countries like Syria, Yemen, DRC and other war ravaged countries in the world). We shouldn't feel comfortable with that in our everyday lives.

Not everybody should be a politician, there can also be good entrepreneurs, developmental engineers, social entrepreneurs, doctors, teachers, social workers, and many more. Get involved in any way you can, Ethiopia has got many challenges and she don't have many reliable freinds around. That is why we need a strong and mobilised citizenry, who cares about its country and ready to defend her, in all aspects.

I have no knowledge of what the government is doing, I am not part of the government and I don't think the government is perfect, but I am also the opinion that creating a perfect or better functioning government takes time and we should always try to hold them accountable in what they fail, but while doing so, we should make sure that our opposition to the government shouldn't be equated with opposing the country.

Here is the multiplier-effect in diagram as an example.

If we don't have money but still we have a vast amount of human resources, a vibrant young population that can change not only Ethiopia but the whole region, if deployed to work appropriately. It just needs the right management.

Let's make poverty a history in Ethiopia!

Unless we win over poverty, we will also remain shackled in other side-effects of poverty.

Start organizing community towards defeating poverty in our country.

There is a good potential that we can win if implemented well.

Here the PM is giving signal that the next focal point is development and started watering the seedlings planted last year, after finishing the war on Sunday, addressing the parliament on Monday and watering the seedlings on Tuesday.

Work hard and you will succeed one day.

Let's make poverty history!
