This appears to me very late. Tigray people should have voiced about the crime of TPLF long time ago. Sincerely, they should have broken their silence years ago and all times. Why know? But as an Ethiopian, their safety and right should be respected all over Ethiopia as long as they come and live in peace. The country would have not been in this situation when Amhara revolted (in Gondar, Bahri Dara Gojam, Woldiya, Raya -Wolo ), Oromo (in Ambo-Shewa) had Tigray followed suit. That is a sorely missed opportunity for Tigrians to show their Ethiopiawinet. There are still Tigres in the Diaspora world carrying ugly Chinese communist red terror flag chanting Ethiopia down down. What are the Tigres at home saying about them? Is it not disgusting Tigres betraying our green-yellow and red tri-color flag why only about the few defeated lonely TPLF in Mekelle. I think there is a lot we have to work and deal with several Tigres, especially morally and deficit of trust. But for now peace and safety is a priority, let Ethiopians show them for the sake of our ancestors who died in unison against our common enemy.

Honestly, there are seems to be several unknown variables regarding why the Tigre people have been silent about TPLF this long. Even now, the Defense Force is trying to be politically correct by stating that Tigre people are warmly well coming them, but there has not been any meaningful video in those cities they have capture so far. The only cities where people chanted, celebrated and rejoiced is in the liberated cities and territories of Amhara namely in Humera, Welqait, and Raya. The video footage showed how the army was welcomed warmly in these places. Otherwise, in all cities of Tigre there is noting even if they interviewed some resident they did not seem elated. In any case, they army have to watch out its back, especially as it is closing on Mekelle. There is more anger, defeat than happiness in the proper old Tigray province.
