Prime Minister Abiy Amhed just announced he has given TPLF leaders 72 hours to turn themselves in before the law enforcement operation enters into Mekelle. The true reasoning behind the 72 hours is to give forces from the North (the more experienced forces) enough time to get to Mekelle. They are expected to arrive on Tuesday. That means the final battle for Tigray will begin on Wednesday. Mekelle will likely fall by next weekend, perhaps as early as Friday.
