By the way now the government encourage citizens to organized and protect themselves. Though it is too late for more than 400 civilians who became victims in their own home.

I think it is a good step forward that you now admitted the fact that Ato Eskinder Nega organised a "self-defense", which is in itself an act of violence albite to meet, purportedly, another violence with the same violence.

So, may I ask what would make him any different from the likes of Obbo Daud Ibsa, who also said, "we don't want to lay down our arms, even when we are registered as a legal and peaceful political party that is demanding our rights " or something very similar?

In effect Obbo Daud was readying himself for violence and we all condemned that as unacceptable because, we claimed that the monopoly of violence lies in the sole hands of the government in charge of administering the affairs of the people in the country ALONE.

Only because Jawar's crimes are higher (assumed or in reality) in their magnitude wouldn't automatically make Ato Eskinder free from charges of crimes he himself committed, isn't it?

You must realize you are making an awkward argument when you are equating organizing oneself for self defence as creaminal act. Had the Oromos police and Takele Uma,'s police have done their duty to protect the citizens there would be no need for citizens to organise. After more than 400 Ethiopians killed by jawar lead quroos,and 1000 more maimed, and billions of birr worth property of the hardworking people property burned to the ground while the police and the military look on ,you still think organizing to defend one self is coequal crime with mindless mob armed with machete and with gasoline to burn? At the very core of your argument I observe a foundmental problem.
