Ethiopians are realistic and are preparing for civil war to save their country for posterity.
As the last 50 years of Ethiopia's history, no force has taken political power through dialogue.
Armed political groups will take control of Ethiopia.
Ethnic based political such as TPLF, OLF, Amara National Movement, Ogaden Liberation Front are armed and the country wide groups like EDP, Berhanu Nega's EZEMA are not armed. But it likely that Ethiopian patriotis standing for One Ethiopia will get armed as soon as the prospects for peace become elusive.

Abiy Ahmed's EPP may stand for Ethiopia. The future will show who will stand for a united and democratic Ethiopia.
