The Amhara have used the Orthodox Church to establish the domination of Amhara over non-Amharas. They have used the church to steal Ethiopia's ancient history which started in Aksum and surroundings, which is found in Tigray. The Amhara elites are raping non-Amhara culture on daily basis and glorifying Amhara culture.

In one of the recent music competitions, only amharic music was allowed. There are outstanding artists from Somali, Sidama, Oromo, Tigray , Afar etc. No one was given the chance to present their works in their mother tongues. In fact Oromo, Tigrigna, Somali or Afari or Sidama music have more colour and vibrate with life.

One of the instruments of discrimination is the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox churches use Amharic to preach in area or regions where Amharic is not spoken. This is a show of power of domiantion of non-Amhara Ethiopians. If the Amhara people have a brain, they would study the languages of non-Amhara Ethiopians. Unfortunately this is not the case.

In all non-Amhara regions Geez and the local language or amharic can be used. Using only amharic in non-Amhara regions weakens the unity of the people as the local people feel discriminated.
