The rushed attempt to change the currency [birr] is also the result of this desperation & aims to force people to bring their money to government banks so that the same is used to pay the salaries of Col Abiy's cadres & soldiers .. There was no Oromo regime in the empire of Ethiopia. As well, it will never be. Mere presence of Oromo individuals in the habesha regime can never be more than galtus (surrendered ones). Others are adopted individual who carry Oromo names or in-law sons of habesha which can't represent Oromo either.
