Not good news to the Mekele crowd. His political philosophy has aligned with them than the Abiy administration. They had hoped he be a reliable partner to unseat the Abiy administration. He got a resounding welcome in Mekele by Sebhat Nega when he returned from his vacation in Asmara.
Things are not looking good to our friends in the North.
