PP which is dominated by PP Oromia want Amhara and Tigray to fight so that they sustain their dominance at the weakness of Amhara and Tigray ( this is same strategy Oromos followed in the 16th century, they expanded to the then Abyssina just after the Gran Mohammed war). Isaias Afeworki who has never recovered from the night mares of his defeat 20 years ago by TPLF/EPRDF can't sleep until he sees TPLF is buried but his army is highly depleted and he want to use the Amara youth to fight and die for his evil revenge war. I am happy that while the PP Amhara is trying to implement the order of his master PP Oromia other political parties of Amhara like ABEN have said no war between the brotherly people of Tigray and Amhara. ABEN also told Isaias Afeworki to do his own war alone against Tigray. That is a historic decision for ABEN.

agame qomal sahsah, the Amhara don`t need our will to smash your agame A$$. They have a lot of cases with you than with Oromo, you stole Amhara fertile land Walkit Humera, Raya and they are keen to return their land by any means, so our will is reserved for other time.

I think war is good for the future of Tigray and Ethiopia. If Eritrea supports Amhara that is good for Tigray and Ethiopia because the people will fight both Eritrea and Amhara tribalists, which then brings peace to all Ethiopians. There will be more democracy where Oromo, Agaw, Wolaita etc will have more rights to organize their communities without the interference of Amhara or their stooges (Gobenas) in the provinces. I do not support fragmentation of Ethiopia. However, I oppose the domination of a single Ethnic group in Ethiopia be it Amhara, Tigray or Oromo.

The only two people that are looking for war between Amhara and Tigray are Abiy and Isaias Afeworki. Both want to weaken or bury TPLF for their own reasons. For Isaias it is a revenge and to prevent any Eritrean opposition from allying with TPLF. For Abiy he wants TPLF to be weak or buried so that his PP Oromia dominated party will be the dominant party in Ethiopia under his dictatorial leadership. Since Isaias's army is depleted he knows he has no enough manpower to face TPLF which has effectively mobilized most of the Tigray people. For Abiy he can't use the Ethiopian army against Tigray because of risks related to disintegration of the army along ethnic lines and he will be dragged into endless war that no body knows the outcome while already the army is overstretched in peace keeping/stabilizing activities in different regions of Ethiopia.

However, there is no genuine reason for Tigray and Amhara to go to war for the following reasons:

The present territory of Amhara including its name was created during TPLF/EPRDF time by integrating Gondar, Gojam , Showa and Wello provinces. Part of Gondar( Humera, Welkait and Tsegede) was included to be part of Tigray, part of Gojam( Metekel) was included to be part of Benshangul and huge part of Showa was included with Oromia and part of Wello was included to be part of Tigray( Raya) and Afar. If Amhara has a claim on lost territories that should apply not only with Tigray but with other regional governments including Afar, Benshangul and Oromia. As part of the restructuring, Tigray also lost huge part of its historical territory to Afar.Therefore, unless there is a hidden agenda ,there is no need for Amhara and Tigray to go to war because of border issue. The hidden agenda is none other than the conspiracy of Abiy and Isaias Afworki to use the human resources of Amhara to do their dirty work as explained above. The people of Tigray and Amhara lived together for generations and they have a stronger bond than any ethnic groups in Ethiopia. The people of Amhara has to say no to this conspiracy.

TPLF veteran tegadeltis those who lost their lives in action and those arrested had the chance to avert this war from happening. They conceded defeat in the Party's election and willingly handed over power to reform groups and retreated to MeQele. The peaceful power transition step they took was really commendable.

But when things got tough with the federal government and when the politics led former tegadeltis into a confrontation with the feds, why they just simply resigned from the leadership post and left for overseas to enjoy their retirement with the money they had already accumulated?

Their post should had filled with young Woyentis to take Tigray matter in a new direction, by doing so they could have saved TPLF, Tigray and Ethiopia as a whole from the disaster we are seeing now.
