The deep-rooted hostility & jealousy of Tegaru against Eritreans will not end with the demise of TPLF!!!!

Post by pushkin » 08 Aug 2020, 21:12

The deep-rooted hostility, resentment and jealousy we see in Tigray and its representative TPLF, towards Eritrea, goes back centuries to the time when Eritrea was known as “Medri Bahri.” Our forefathers felt that neighboring Tigray could never be trusted and that Tigrayans were treacherous, duplicitous, and dishonest. Hence, the term “Libi Tigray” or “Twisted like the heart of a Tigrayans.”

Eritrea was a separate entity known as Medri Bahri, the first thing that the Tigrayan leader Yohannes the 4th did after he was rewarded with modern weaponry by the British for his collaboration with the British Colonial forces for the assassination of Tewodros was wage an expansionist war on Eritrea, which was then an independent entity known as Medri Bahri with its own ruler Bahri Negassi. He ended up plundering Eritrean villages and stole thousands of cattle.

While Eritrea was under the Haileselassie & Derg regimes, tens of thousands of Tigrayans were settled in Eritrea by the Ethiopian Army and became informers and guides for the Dergue, penetrating Eritrean societies and liberation movement networks because of their familiarity with the Tigrigna language and local customs. Some Tigrayans even saw it as their chance to overcome their inferiority complex and were particularly brutal toward Eritrean civilians as spies and security officers for the Dergue.

During their 1998-2000 invasion of Eritrea, TPLF & its cadres treated 100,000 Eritreans living in Ethiopia brutally where they separated them from their spouses and children in order to inflict maximum psychological pain and ensure that the families they left behind become destitute and end up on the streets after the loss of their bread winners. They were then made to cross the border into Eritrea by walking through landmines. 20,000 young Eritreans died in defense of Eritrea’s sovereignty. To date, Tigray, in whose name the expansionist war was fought, is illegally occupying sovereign Eritrean territory in defiance of the Hague ruling. The have plundered villages and destroyed martyrs cemeteries. TPLF leaders have also vowed to turn Eritrea into Somalia and has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to that end trying to sow discord and divisiveness among the Eritrean society much as it has done to Ethiopia through its divide-and-conquer ethnic federalism or bantustanization.

The hostility of Tegaru is not going to end with TPLF's removal. Libi Tigray will stay in place until Tigrayans have a behavioral change. In Tigrayan society, being a weasel, lying and cheating others isn't frowned upon, and in some cases, is actually seen in a favorable light. Of course not all Tigrayans are like this but many seem to have adopted this culture.

TPLF leaders are suffering from mental sickness, and inferiority complex. On all occasions, the former TPLF leaders particularly Siye Abraha, Gebru Asrat, Seyoum Mesfin, Tsadikan, Abebe T.Haimanot, Getachew Vodka tell naked lies without the slightest hesitation with issues between Eritrea and Ethiopia. It is difficult to fathom what goes inside their brains when they just bluntly lie as if it was a virtue. I confess all of us lie consciously about some things excepting factual events. But these guys do it unconsciously and seems to come naturally with them. I find this bizarre. I ask myself what do the children and wives of these guys think when they hear them? God forbid their off-springs will not inherit this malice.

Despite the custom suits they put on and the material wealth they amassed by looting Ethiopia, the Agames couldn't extricate themselves from that ghetto fab mentality.....And the emotional weight of that kind of mind-set was what crashed them eventually........The key for freeing themselves from the mental prison they've been in is with them, but they are blinded by too much hatred and self-afflicted inferiority complex to see their way out of the lockup.

The majority of Tegaru are not proud of themselves! As we observe in ER they act like Eritreans, their history is full of lies, back-stabbing (ERITREANS, and Ethiopians). The truth is revealed & no more Ethiopian is washing to hear fairy tales. It is just the last of their desperate attempt to connect themselves to Eritreans. One can understand why Tegaru are set back so much these days because they still believe in their fairy tales and deny their true ancestry because it puts the final nail into their loony toon "history" which has been fueled by western interests during the last couple of decades :P :P :P :P

"We will never and ever forget". We have a recorded history from the distant past and recent past to remember and learn from. We Eritreans are forgiving people but we cannot forget the crimes of Tegaru against Eritreans

As far as I know Tigrayans love and forgive their families in MidriBahri. We have wronged to each other for long and time to forgive to each other and make peace for the new generation. Revenge and hate against each other only produces continuous suffering both people. Seeing Tigrayans as evil doers and claiming you are as innocent as dove is hypocracy and that has to be corrected.
