Since Oromo has no culture of trade or industry, its the only employment open to them was either remain as peasant or join the imperial army. As the result we see too many Oromo soldiers and generals through history.
Also as the result of their service in the imperial army, they are widely mixed with Amara and others around the crown power, Derg and under woyane rule. So the issue of Shewa Oromo is strictly control over central power not ethnic separation or Oromo nation.
But in 1970s Wellega extremist anti-Orthodox and anti-Shewa, Anti-Amara youth wrote a theory called Settler Colonialism and ever since trying to control the whole Oromo agenda pushing anti-Ethiopia position.
Then there is a whole different animal in the East Oromo that was ignited by Wako Gutu - this is the Islamic Oromo agenda that wanted to impose Arabic as Oromo language and Islam as Oromo religion. Under Jawarian Islamic Oromo, there is no Oromo culture or Geda, or Oromofa but an Oromo Kalifate.
So it is only a matter of time the fake German contraption Oromo anti-Ethiopia chaos facing all sorts of internal battles and crisis. Here is the honest to God truth.
The Shewa Oromo is most and highly benefited by being close to the central government and close to Addis Abeba. In other words, Shewa Oromo will never fight woth Amara because every Shewa Oromo is half Amara.
The rest like Wellega whose culture is more close to Gibe and Omotic people is more like sidama. The east is more like Somali.
Oromo will never have any significant consequence outside of the Ethiopian nation and the relationship between Oromo and the central Ethiopian power is controlled by Shewa Oromo. This is the fact, the real fact.
Now you can see why Jawar had to come from Arusi to lead Oromo extremism residing in Addis Abeba. Shewa will not produce Jawar, the extent it can go is produce Achalu."
