They are acquiring all the dirty characteristics of the Agame, lying and back-stabbing. No one did more for the Oromo people than Eritreans. Eritrean intellectuals, like professor Asmerom and Tesfay GebreAb, played a remarkable role in helping Oromos gain respect for themselves. The EPLF trained and supported the OLF throughout the 1980s and conducted with them joint anti Derg operations in Oromia. It helped them to have a seat at the table when it (the EPLF) drove Mengistu out of Addis. When the lousy Agames betrayed the OLF and committed heinous crimes on Oromos, it was Eritrea that gave refuge to Oromos and the OLF. Today, all of that is forgotten and these worthless Oromo sell-outs are back-stabbing Eritrea. Anyone who, having witnessed how the dirty Agames betrayed Eritrea, is stupid enough to trust the Agames deserves whatever he gets!

Sesame,

These highly influential professors are not listing the people. They are not even listing the EPLF but the PFDJ as the enemy of the Oromo. PFDJ ignored our call to be out of interenal Oromo politics to preserve future people to people relationship. Big admiration to these leaders for keeping people out of it, at least for now.

Oromo intelligentsia? May be 10 or 15 vocal parrots trying to lead the young people right in to the fire of hell.
No need to generalize because the large majority of Oromos (about 90%) love and respect the Eritreans. Only some frustrated power hungry guys are angry because their new found godfather, the tplf is hopeless and angry. Nothing more. It is only more than good if Eritrea contributed in helping block genocide and save our Qeerros and Qarrees from blindly discending deep in to the bottom of the dirty drain.

Their "high" influence is contained only in their extremist basis and the desperate TPLF fascist. When one asks what the main objectives of these self righteous maggots is, one can only come to the conclusion that they are blood thirsty genocide advocates. Let them be fooled by their number one enemy aka TPLF and see if they can move the needle an inch forward in their favor.

First of all why should they be out of internal Oromo politics if the so called internal Oromo politics is directly influenced by the tplf and Egypt and leading the region and the country directly towards genocide? It seems that they have run out of gas. :|

Besides, did these same people demanding absence of Eritrea from the Oromo internal conflict demanded that King Haile Selassie, Mengistu Haile Mariam and Meles Zenawi take their hands off Eritrea during the bygone days of conflict? 8)

Who is Asafa Jalata , a guy who concoct history out of thin air! Now read what Prof. Feqadu Lamessa has to say about this clown.

“Most fictional accounts of 'Oromo history' blindly accepted as facts by some misled people are manufactured by former politicians turned Pseudo-historians like OLF writer Asafa Jalata, who is renowned for abuse of paraphrasing, often with out-of-context citations. For example, while quoting the 19th century Russian Alexander Bulatovich (who provided an 'educated guess' of the annihilation of almost half Ethiopian population by disease, famine and war, including internal conflict between Oromo clans and with Abyssinians), the OLF-writer Asafa Jalata infamously claimed half Oromo population was killed by 'evil' Amharas. This was purposely done by Mr. Jalata to create a foundation for ethnic hatred between Oromos and Amharas. Ironically, even Mr. Bulatovich himself never had the capacity nor the legitimacy to do a reliable census, as he spent just a couple of months walking around Oromia and hunting elephants in 189

During my first year in college here in the U.S., I read the following note on a dormitory white board: "Resistance is futile. You will fit into our little cozy collective."

I did not know what it meant and I still wonder what was meant. I now wonder if as a social science faculty here in the U.S., Professor Assefa Jalata makes some sense of what it meant.
