What should he do?
At this critical juncture, what do you think is the best tactical game for PIA?
Should he support PM Abiy Ahmed on the decision he took against Jawar and co? Or feign neutrality, even though it won’t fool the most naive buffoon?
PIA, it is time to make the call. Otherwise it will make you appear indecisive and double timer!

That’s none of PIA decision if he’s smart he would stick to Eritrean Internal affairs.

Noble Amhara, then you don’t know the man. He is so bored with his own affairs. And he doesn’t believe it is cool to stick to your own business.Noble Amhara wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 21:03That’s none of PIA decision if he’s smart he would stick to Eritrean Internal affairs.

Let’s hope he stays out of Ethiopia’s internal crisis he should keep distracting himself with beer and alcohol.Merhano wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 21:10Noble Amhara, then you don’t know the man. Hachalu gave him a homework, he will not be able to solve in 100 years. Which ever way he turns, it is a minefield for his government.Noble Amhara wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 21:16Let’s hope he stays out of Ethiopia’s internal crisis he should keep distracting himself with beer and alcohol.Merhano wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 21:10Noble Amhara, then you don’t know the man. When the choice was between Abiy and TPLF, it was a slam dunk. But now the two options are either to side with Abiy or Jawar. It’s not enviable position to be.

Re: What should he do?
Eden,
During the war with Derg, TPLF was a true partner with EPLF. And their relationship was symbiotic. After the 1998 EPLF Vs TPLF war, the course was one of self destruction, especially for EPLF.
Fast forward to the downfall of TPLF, PIA believed it is a good bet to side with Abiy against TPLF. It looked a natural decision because Oromo is the largest population group in Ethiopia and siding with them can not be a mistake, right?
But whenever PIA makes a decision about Ethiopia, he manifests arrogance and ignorance at the same time. During the war against EPLF, he thought the rest of Ethiopians will be neutral and it would be a quick war. Guess what, the rest of the country joined the war with fervent patriotism and the outcome was obvious thereafter.
Now he is siding with the Oromos, without having any idea who they are. Now that same population is divided into manyy smaller groups and PIA is at a loss how to go about it. Any outcome is bad for him.
But, what do you think, Eden?

Re: What should he do?
Isaias is a moron also did the moron give the OLF weapons do you know they used those weapons to kill ethnic amharas and nothing else shame on Isaias he has bloods on his hands if he armed those mengas.
He is politically retarded for not working with Amhara to crush the Weyane power I guarantee Amhara can easily destroy Weyane power in Ethiopia. If he used his brains he would have destabilized Ethiopia from the North not the south. Weyane would have collapsed decades ago. Through Amhara nationalism and military. Easily cutting TPLFs access to Addis Ababa and the rest of Ethiopia aswell as shutting down the border (Amhara-Tigray) would do the most damage To TPLF decades ago. Making them lose there dominance in Ethiopia is only through the Amhara! The North has the most Power not Z south. Also Tigray has all there electricity coming from Gonder Dams in Tselemt Isaias with his AirPower could easily bomb that schit and bring chigrai into dark ages

Re: What should he do?
The answer is crystal clear: he will firmly stand with Abiy Ahmed. Did not you learn from what the Egyptian hired mercenary አራርሣ said. He incriminated Isayas for the killing of አጫሉ, his own sacrificial lamb to the Egyptian god of Nile. How dumb one should be to jump into the sinking boat of TPLF and its attendant Jawarian and Dawud Ibsa OLF. By the way accordingly, አራርሣ should have incriminated Isayas for the butchering and massacre of the ቡራዩ Gamo ethnic groups in the suburb of Adddis Ababa. Any way, this is not a question worth even asking. In stead how soon should TPLF be fumigate and expelled.

Merhano
I think you missed my point. If Isayas can work with Abiy, why did he waste Eritrean lives fighting Mengistu? Mengistu and Abiy are same.

Re: What should he do?
Eden the agame hoe is an Ethiopian leader who wanted to colonize Eritrea and another who (not that it matters to us) not only recognized the sovereign nation of Eritrea, its territorial integrity and stretched his hand with peaceful gesture so much so, he wants to abide by international rule of law?
Aye agames.
PIA's position is for a unity of Ethiopia, but he is not the enforcer of Ethiopia's 85 different ethnic group or Ethiopia itself.
If any one of the ethics want to go their own way, who the hell is Wedi Afom to stop them?
PIA's idea is not because of personal friendship with PMAA. If the Amhara, Oromo or any other ethio ethnic group except the filthy, coward and ungrateful agames and emerges an honest, respectful leader, Eritrea will always be working for good relations.
Idiots agames, stop crying as if PIA is leading Ethiopia.
The game is over. PMAA so far is being very patient.
But I believe he will soon start choking tigray and as him and PIA surgically removed woyane from Addis, now the second surgery of apprehending and forcing tigray to act Ethiopian or go on it's way will start.
Keep in mind tigray has no more hide out to start a fight like it did inside Eritrea under the umbrella of EPLF. Had woyane stayed inside tigray, during it's so called struggle, mengistu would have ate tplf's dirty, coward corpses.

Merhano,
Choosing between Abbiy and Jawar is a slam-dunk. Abbiy is the winner for Eritreans.

Re: What should he do?
I agree with you, their principles are the same but differ only in their methods. At his heart, PIA is Ethiopian. I don’t think that is bad as such, but he should spell it clearly and we should know where he is leading us into.
As far as PIA is concerned, Eritrea can only exist as a vassal state to Ethiopia. He has given up on the idea of Eritrean independence and he is involved in the day to day issues of Ethiopia more than TPLF at this point in time.
Tigray and Somali regions are acting more independent than Eritrea. The 2 regions just simply ignore the central government and mind their affairs. On the other hand, Eritrean officials are commenting and worried more about Ethiopian affairs than the “country” they are supposed to lead.
