Ever since Ethiopians migrated to West as well as those who brought every foreign culture to Ethiopia wearing suit, communism, protestant, wahabism, etc, for the past 30 years every alien thing came to Ethiopoia dividing people more and more, forgetting who they are, etc.
Now these groups both in diaspora and Ethiopia are so comfortable, and they are believing the colonialists and their tentacles in Middle East as friendly and somewhow, they are drinking the cool aid that Ethiopia is and will be in safe hand without lifting a finger.
