Who needs Addis Abeba skyscrapers

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 19 May 2020, 15:53

air pollution and street filled with eighty four different ethnic groups human waste & urine, when you have the best part of the Indian ocean, sea breeze, free whale shark & dolphin show, endless pristine beaches, wonderful coral reef that are basically untouched literally on your doorstep and hundreds of thousands of magnificent sea turtles laying their eggs at night in nests dug into the dry sand under your window, there's no place like Somalia seaside.

Mogadishu is on the way to reclaim its old charm, It was the most popular holiday destination for Italian tourists.

It is a miracle that Mogadishu is still standing after 30 years of civil war fuelled by Europeans and oil hungry Americans.

There is no city in Africa that has more trees than Mogadishu, it's amazing, I love green cities.

As a filming location, there's no place on the African continent that is more ideal for filming a romantic movie scene than Somali sea.

“Dirty dusty city”!

Reviewed 20 April 2015

"I have been to many developing countries and cities but Addis beats them all for its dirt and dust everywhere. Pick pockets abound (thankfully I escaped after warning) .The drivers are nightmarish. It is difficult to find anything positive to say about the city."

The UN Development Program lists 46 of Africa’s 54 countries as "Sub-Saharan" excluding Algeria, Djibouti, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan and Tunisia, Geographically Somalia is isolated from the rest of Africa, It's almost surrounded by ocean.
