yes oromos are known to welcome anyone, as long as that person is respectful. i'm sure some eritreans and even the people you call agame, live in oromia too.

So mine is Raya Wello Amara from my dad and Shewa Oromo from my mom side. But my mom moved to Addis when she was 5. So she more of Addisabebians. My father was older when he moved from Wello to Addis. They both are proud of being Ethiopians! Of course!
