እግዝዮ ማርና ክርስቶስ: I only used to hear from elders and parents while I was young that such a prayer existed and it was supposed to be done at the time of highest calamity to humanity and the nature.

Today I saw a scene of prayers of እግዝዮ ማርና ክርስቶስ for the first time in my life being exercised by people and I was alarmed if something really of such a scale is descending on humanity and the nature (once again)?

Humanity is resilient and strong and can withstand the current challenges of Corona virus and may be it is not advisable to make people feel that something very peculiar might have befallen us.

If we work hard and show solidarity to each other, then we can overcome corona (covid 19). Just be attentive, not over-panic!
