It is reported that Nebiyu Sihul Mikaael of Enderta, Tigrai openly declared his allegiance to Prosperity Party. He said that TPLF is operating based on outdated ideology which doesn't help Tigrai transition in to the new era of competition that is based on merits. Prosperity party of Tigrai branch now seems to attract the creams of the Tigrai people such as Dr Abreham Belay, Dr Liya Tadesse, Nebiyu Sihul Mikal, Arkebe Oqubay etc.,. The belligerent TPLF soon will be a skeleton of what it once used t be and eventually be done away with. The cancer that brought ethnic infestation in to the country will soon be liquidated by none other than its own "base".

He is right of him saying that the TPLF ideology is “ outdated.” Identity politics has run its course for nearly three decades. The majority of Ethiopians has said enough is enough. Tigreans will not be an exception. The grip TPLF has had over them seem to loosen up. Do you remember the demonstration TPLF orchestrated in Mekele about a few months after Abiy became prime minister? But today a fraction of those who attended that mass rally would not choose to participate in a rally called by TPLF. Yes, Meles is the lucky tribal politician. He checked out before seeing the current Ethiopian politics .

It is easy to discern through the alien political ideology that has been tried on Ethiopians and proved to be a creation of dimwits whose main aim was lust for macabre ending of the country. For the thieves who have been looting the country mercilessly, accepting equality means tantamount to cutting their unlimited access to the Ethiopian vast resources. Otherwise, how could a party representing small minority be so obstinate about perpetuating a system of proportional representation unless that same minority party has some magic in staying dominating others forever the way it was before PM Abiy came to power? The TPLF politics in not only archaic but a suicidal politics that works against minorities. TPLF, by virtue of advocating for ethnic politics, has ceded it relevance to the national politics.

I listened to his interview. I haven’t heard about him before now. His reasoning potential is commendable. Then again, in the middle of the interview, I wished he would get a scholarship to study for however long it takes from Professor Dershowitz about one and only one thing: Discerning judgment and intent. Then and only then can he be free from being a misinformed misinformer about the judgments and intents of Atse Menelik II. I don’t wish to see his potential wasted because he spends time trying to explain something that he evidently doesn’t understand fully.
