last time tplf fiercely opposed the appointment of dr. abraham, a non-tplf tigrean. today tplf opposed the appointment of yet another non-tplf tigrean dr. liya tadesse as health minister. tplf hates non-tplf officials the most because they cut through the core message of tplf that says tplf and tigray people are one and the same but the likes of dr. abraham and dr. liya demonstrate otherwise. that is an insult and humiliation to tplf and it opposes the appointment of non-tplf tigreans more than anything.

In fact, Abiy should not appoint any TPLF politician who considers his government illegitmate. There are former TPLF politicians, like Arkebe, who emraced the political change from the outset. They are afew in number, but true Ethiopians who stood by Abiy despite their being hated by the Adwa gangs who barricaded in Mekele. The TPLF politicians want Abiy not to appoint any Tigrean because the propaganda of theirs that Abiy is in war with Tigreans, they believe, might embolden their support in the region. Well, the way I see it that belief only could be held if the TPLF politicians believe Tigreans have no brain at all, and only the TPLF politicians think for them.

According to our Adwa Weyane constitution, if a Tigraway doesn't become a Card-Carrying member of the TPLF, he/she is a traitor by default. We don't trust such person, because he/she doesn't believe in the independence of our Greater Tigray Republic dream. That is treason punishable by life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
