You confused the words, colonization with invasion. To say one country is colonized by another country, the colonizer must fully control the country and properly settled . The colonizers must also demolish the old administration system and start its own new administration system and start to adminstor the people and collect tax and revenues. That did not happen in Ethiopia during the invention. What Italy did was it invaded Ethiopia like thieves and intruders usually do and control an area for few hours or days and then chased away by patriotic Ethiopians.
