If someone wanted to change his employer or join another institution that is different from his current or former, then that someone needs, in addition to fulfilling the other requirements for the new job or institution, also something we commonly call a clearance from the former employer and other relevant institutions. This is also the case if I want to migrate to another country or even acquire a different nationality than i had before.

So, if someone has willingily acquired a different nationality than that of his own and then afterwards trying to re-acquire the same nationality, then the requirement of providing for a clearance must be a minimum demand, in this case irrespective of the wordings of the relevant legal provisions, in my view as someone who has no expertise in the area of legislation of a country.

Something must also be clear that you can't simply and blindliy interpret a law just according to your personal or other similar feelings, you have to take into account the intention why the legislation itself (explicit or implicit) was made, if you are a good judge.

Jawar Mohammad and any others who have taken a foreign-nationality need to provide a clearance from those respective countries, whose nationality they readily assumed before, before hoping to regain the same nationality they denounced before on their own.
