Why is this awesome. Gena (Lidet) or Christmas in Tigray is more Christian. Addis Ababa is full of non-Christians and the celebration has little to do with Christmas as observed in ancient Ethiopia. Villages and towns in Tigray celebrate Christmas more colourfully and Christian. Addis Ababa is more like West African city. The Christmas celebration in Addis have little resemblance with ancient Ethiopian tradition. Mekelle should be the capital city of Ethiopia as it has more ancient cultural legacies which we need to celebrate. Addis Ababa is West African bush negro type town.
