If you are mixing it up with the plant-eater “grasshopper” then that insect is also a delicacy in Tigray as well as many middle-eastern cultures, which makes sense given the reoccurring locust plague in those geographical regions. BTW - grasshopper is a very nutritious and probably cleaner and healthier diet than chicken, which happens to eat all kinds of filth ranging from earthworms to human pooop.
