In this week, high level delegation from Ethiopia’s self-declared Oromo state of Ethiopia led by Oromo Vice President, Chaltu Sani Ibrahim was on official visit to Somaliland self-declared state of Somalia, and visited Barbara port, without involvement of the federal ministers in both Ethiopia and Somalia. Somaliland President Musa Bihi and other officials welcomed and met Oromo delegation.

Oromo Vice President Chaltu Sani Ibrahim: “creating in one country [????], but unfortunately living in two different countries [Oromoland and Somaliland] I feel like that”… we [Oromoland] are owner of Barbara port. This is good opportunity for two regional, our region [Oromo] specially. After this consuruction [port construction] is completed we may be very much happy. This is facilitating economy cooperation between two countries [Oromoland and Somaliland]. We [Oromoland and Somaliland] are from one family".

This is very dangerous statement and clear indication that Oromos will declare self-declared state and independent Oromo country is underway, and they will use Somali ports to import weapons and for human trafficking to Arab, Europa and other countries.

In 20 Jun 2018, after Somalia’s president Farmaajo hosted Oromo’s OPDO chairman Abiy Ahmed, Somalia and Ethiopia announced Ethiopia will get four key seaports in Somalia. Currently, Ethiopia organizes mass migrations, supports warlords in Somalia with weapons and militias, and also exports a lot of Khat and other drugs to Somalia to destabilise and weaken the country, federal government and Somali people.
