Biggest threat to Eritrea

Post by Afdeyu » 07 Dec 2019, 11:47

The biggest threat to Eritrea is internal, not external. Even during haileslasie time, if Eritrean opposed Union with Ethiopia in unison there wouldn’t be Federation. Andnet party elite Eritreans at that time thought, it was better to unite than take the risk of getting Arabized. Haileslassie took the elite Eritreans at the time to mahal Hager and gave them prestige roles example is dictator Isaias’s uncle Solomon Abraha was governor of a province.
The threat from Ethiopia is very low, because even under warmongering leader from any tribe, Ethiopian will be fighting their own demons of tribalism. Amhara( next PM) in power Oromos and tigreans will fight him. Oromo (Abiy) in power the Amharas and tigreans will fight him...Tigre( Meles) in power Oromo and Amhara fought him plus Eritreans and undone TPlf regime, that cycle will continue and the smartest thing for any Ethiopian ruler is to be friends with Eritrea so Eritrans don’t support his enemies just like what Abiy’s doing. Imagine Abiy picks a fight with Eritrea, Eritrea can rehire TPlf to undo him... that cycle will continue until the empire is dissolved. There’s a terminal tribal identity politics that will consume our neighbor and that’ll make them less of a threat to us.
The biggest threat to Eritrea is our own making of following a failed hybrid of socialism and communism which gave birth to our dictatorship. This’s a cruel system that’s destroying the Eritrean family fabric. The Isaias cadres you see write here are suffering from a psychological disease called Stockholm syndrome that making them deny reality ( not seeing the difference between Eritrea and Isaias), and support the dictatorship that made them and their family refugees.they are loyal foot soldiers who can’t think independently. Some of them supporting the regime that’s arresting their family member or killed their family member.
There’s no Eritrean who hasn’t suffered from this dictatorship and the biggest threat to Eritrea is it’s own children arrogance and luck of seeing the difference between right and wrong. Uncle Isaias is old man who is stuck in the old world view mindset and he’s driving the Eritrean ship to the ditch and his followers are clapping for him instead of telling him Not to take us to the ditch.
It’s not to late and I am still hopeful the after Isaias Eritrea will be stable with a smooth transition...Wedehankum

The funny thing is this jerk, and other lifeless Agames like him, believe he can mislead Eritreans pretending to be one of us by simply picking an Eritrean village name as his nick! Mamma mia, non posso vedere questi maledeti e ignoranti figlie della contro muro!

There is a lot of truth to what you wrote. I am as nationalist as they come and I still call a myself proud Shaebia; however, I am for a peaceful change of leadership NOW. The current leadership is old and I don't think they can take this beautiful country to the next step. I would love to see PIA retire in peace in Massawa or in Greenisland (Dahlak) and enjoy his remaining time with his beloved family. To me, the worst threat to Eritrea is Weyane and is has gone for good. The future is bright. People are more optimistic and energetic now than they were 2 years ago. I saw that from my recent visit to Asmara.

Peaceful transition from which of the Monkey-ministers?

Or Monkey-military commanders? All of them are corrupt and at the same time weak by design, therefore will make a terrible leadership.

The country is messed up because of them and not specifically of the main Clown-communist in Charge.

The enablers of the dictatorship all need to be removed from any power. Many of them are hiding in plain sight and some are even pretend opposition.

The Yiakil movement is really messing them up right now!

...Haileslassie took the elite Eritreans at the time to mahal Hager and gave them prestige roles example is dictator Isaias’s uncle Solomon Abraha was governor of a province...
The dictator is cento per cento. Case closed
...Family background of the Eritrean tyrant
Isayas' father, Ato Afewerq/ki is from Adi Tanqua-Milash/Tembien and they trace their roots to Agame Awraja of Tigray in Ethiopia.

Isayas's father used to work in Mekele, the capital of Tigray Province. Isayas's father used to work at the Ministry of Land Reform until his retirement. Until he died, those who knew him in Tigray used to identify him as "the man who wears a black suit, a black "cravat"/neck tie and a black hat."

Isayas's Mother Woz. Adanech Berhe is from Adwa in Tigray. This is also the birthplace of the father of Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia.

Isayas's uncles (via his father) are: Dejazmatch Solomon Abraha, Captain Mekonnen Abraha, Ato Hagos Abraha.

Dejazmatch Solomon Abraha (Isayas's uncle) was the Enderassie/Governor of Wollo province in Ethiopia during the reign of Emperor Haileselassie. In 1964 (E.C.), ae Tigray cultural group based in Mekele visited Dessie, the Capital City of Wollo after their tour to Asmara. The Governor of Wollo at the time, Dejazmatch Solomon Abraha, (the Eritrean President's uncle), in a special dinner, organised in their honour expressed his pleasure and gratitude to the Cultural Group for their initiative of popularising the Tigrean folklore music and dances and he told them that he was a Tigrean himself.

Dejazmatch Solomon Abraha revealed to them that his own mother was from Agame Awraja in Beganta-Afeshum Woreda (sub-district) in a village called Qil-a-at" in Tigray, Ethiopia. He also told them that his father was from Tenbien in Tigray.

Navy Captain Mekonnen Abraha was "married" to the daughter of Dejazmatch Ghebray, who was a student at Empress Menen School in Addis Ababa and he is believed to have children from her. Ato Hagos Abraha was a student at Teferi Mekonnen School in Addis Ababa in the mid 1940s. He discontinued his studies due to ill health and later died when he was working at the National Bank in Addis Ababa.

...Isayas's grandmother (on his mother's side) is called Woz. Medhin "Berad" and she is from Adwa in Tigray. She is the sister of Fitawrari Kidane Mesel.

It is also alleged that Fitawrari Kidane is the father of either Ato Kassahun or Ato Yemane Kidane (otherwise known as "Jamaica") of the TPLF/EPRDF ruling group of Ethiopia. If this is true, it implies that Ato "Jamaica" and Isayas Afewerki of Eritrea are in a sense brothers by our Eritrean/Ethiopian definition but a cousin in Western sense
. It is also said that some of the closest people around Isayas Afewerki also have a Tigrean blood. In short, many of those who are fanatic anti-Ethiopia in Asmara are mainly Tigreans/Ethiopians by origin and those who have had strong links and connections with Tigray, in particular, and Ethiopia, in general.

Isayas's aunt (the sister of Isayas's mother) is called Woz. Hana. She is the wife of Ato Belay. Both Woz. Hana and Ato Belay are from Adwa. It is alleged that their children are living in Sweden.

Isayas's uncle (on his mother's side) is married to a woman from Adwa and has a daughter named Woz. Zewdi, who is now said to be living in Germany.

From the above information, the only "Eritreanness" of Isayas Afewerki is that he was born in Eritrean soil and he is married to Woz. Saba Haile of Shimezana of Eritrea.

There got to be a soft landing after Isaias, even a weak and ineffective transition like Hailemariam Desalegn did his part in bringing a true change to EPP.
The stability of the transition is critical to get to the true dreams and aspirations of the Eritrean people. The sad thing is even the guys we see on EriTv have no idea what uncle Isaias has in store. Wedi efrem was the brightest of the all with leadership quality, but he has been sidelined.
Don’t lose hope deki erre our own version of Abiy Ahmed (Warsay Generation) who will take us to the promise land which our heroes gave their life for is in the making...

Brother I concur 100% to what you said. Those of us close to the regime have to voice our concerns for their own benefit... the problem is EPLF had a great culture of nekefeta riese nekefeta that exposed weakness and opportunity for growth. Now, that tradition is gone and what ever the dictator said is the rule of law. Some times because he doesn’t have a good counseling to his own determent... the best thing to do for uncle Isaias is to retire with grace and be statesman enjoying retirement advising his chosen successor, but I am afraid he’s to arrogant he’ll die in office as any other dictator we’ve seen before. Besides, there are cadres who worship him and all they do is follow, but don’t think independently... this cadres are extremists who don’t even care for the well being of their family members.

Retire with honors uncle Isaias for your own legacy

Afedeyu the filthy agame, shut the f**k up.
If you really are Eritrean and you believe the Eritrean people are in dire situation, why the f*&k don't you go back home and atleast die trying to free 'your people'?
How is you opening your deceitful, filthy agame mouth wearing Eritrean Jersey or your crocodile tears gonna help them?
Stop trying to hoodwink us the supporters. You already know our stands and we can't be your audience.
You already have some nut cases agames or some others who pretend to be Eritreans like you in this site, right?
So focus on them and get together with them and explain your plans to them and take them to Eritrea, where it matters.
You bleeding your agame mouth is not going to change the supporters views.
So, what is your agenda?
Insulting us is supposed to 'free' the supposedly marginalized Eritreans?
How?

Brother cigar
My hope is your conscious is not gonna allow you to continue watching the suffering of your extended family members and dictatorship that is inflicting all the suffering on the people you love the Eritrean people. You know we can do better than what we got now with Isaias...
I also know you want to go back to Eritrea and do so many things as most Eritreans, but current regime you can do nothing...
Current Eritrea is not safe even for Cigar let alone me... I was there recently and I didn’t like what I saw... in communist Isaias Eritrea, I couldn’t buy a cellphone, but I had to ask my relative to loan me a phone... it doesn’t matter if you agree or not but my conscience will be at peace for mentioning the suffering the Eritrean people going through by our own people who hijacked the EPLF heroic revolution.

How?
